Phil West
Church Pastor

Phil West has been the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Valdosta since 2001. He is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Phil has pastored churches throughout the state for thirty years. He received his seminary training from New Orleans Theological Seminary.

Phil has been married to his wife Cheryl for thirty-five years, and they have three children and four grandchildren. Cheryl is a retired teacher.

We have recently been able to acquire property and have developed a master plan. Our entire facility has been renovated, and construction on a new children's building will begin this Spring.
