A Note from Our Pastor
I am praying that the Lord will do great and mighty things in our lives, this church and community. I pray for revival and spiritual renewal; that God would give us hearts to reach the lost and a vision for the future of First Baptist Church. I also pray that God would strengthen us to be faithful in our giving and sharing the gospel.
Scripture is clear about the power of prayer. Jesus said (Matthew 7:7–8) Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. James wrote (James 4:2b) You do not have, because you do not ask. Prayer is the key to receiving the blessings of the Lord.
We desperately need revival in our land, and I pray it begins here at First Baptist Church. God is willing and able to do exceedingly beyond all we think or imagine. Remember His charge and promise to Solomon (2 Chronicles 7:14) If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. God will honor His word if we simply pray. Will you join with me and your Church family and pray?
Blessings,Bro. Chuck
